2001 Les Paul LPR8 1958 Reissue
Bourbon Burst finish and prettier than the pictures! The `58 Reissue features a beautiful carved maple top with mahogany back, mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and pearl trapezoid inlays, an ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece, and two reissue PAF-style pickups with tone and volume for each, and 3-way switching. It is in excellent overall condition, with no chips or scratches. Price includes the original hard Gibson case, and loads of case candy, including the Certificate of Authenticity. 2017 Gibson Les Paul Standard at Pittsburgh Guitars

2017 Les Paul Standard
A beautiful example in Honey Burst finish on a flamed maple top, mahogany body, and rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, made in the USA. It has Burstbucker Pro Rhythm and Lead humbucking pickkups with alnico magnets, and classic Gibson controls with 4 push/pull switches. It is in excellent condition, with some light surface scratches, and a couple small dings on the back. It has a small ding on the top of the headstock, and there is a finish imperfection on the headstock that shows up only at certain angles in the right light - it is under the finish, and can not be felt. Price includes the original hard Gibson case, the pickguard and pickup selector ring, and some other original case candy. Vintage Sunburst finish on a mahogany body with a carved AA maple top, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and pearloid trapezoid inlays. It has two 490R humbucking pickups with 3-way switching, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, and chrome hardware. This guitar is in very good condition overall, with some small dings and scuffs, and belt buckle scratches on the back, and some small dings on the back of the neck. Built by Gibson as a tribute to Les Paul, this model features an Alpine White Burst finish on a carved Grade-AA figured maple top with a select mahogany back, a glued in "fast 60s Slim Taper" neck, and two `57 Classic PAF-style humbucking pickups. It has a bound rosewood fingerboard with traditional trapezoid inlays, and a Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece. This guitar is in excellent condition. The tuners have been upgraded to Grovers, and the knobs and plastic parts have been changed to black. It's a great "tuxedo" look! Price includes a hard Gibson case, with replacement handle. 2011 Flying V
Cherry finish on a mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and acrylic dot markers, and chrome hardware. Other features include a Gibson tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece, black tophat knobs, and two humbucking pickups. It has a Flying V truss rod cover, stamped with the Gibson logo. This guitar is in very good+ condition, with some small dings, light scratches, and some belt buckle scratches on the back that show in direct light. The pickguard is slightly warped on the treble side. The tuning gears have been changed to Grovers, and extra screw holes are just visible above the gears. A faithful reissue of Fender's 1965 Mustang, this guitar features a poplar body, C-shaped maple neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, pearloid pickguard with classic control plate, vintage-style tuning machines with white buttons, floating bridge with “Dynamic” vibrato tailpiece, two Mustang single-coil pickups with on/off slider switch and in/out phase switch for each pickup, and chrome hardware. It is in very good condition, pretty clean with some light dings and scuffs. Strap buttons have been changed to strap locks. It does not have the strap-side ends. 1956 Gretsch Duo Jet
This exceptionally clean example of a vintage Gretsch Duo Jet came to us from a large collection of well cared-for guitars. It is 100% original, with a chambered mahogany body, 2 DeArmond pickups, a grey plastic pickguard, and “G” tailpiece. It has a Melita bridge, flat top arrow knobs, bound rosewood fingerboard with rectangular block inlays, and the Gretsch “T-roof” logo on the headstock. It shows normal playwear, with some light finish scratches on the top, some small dings and scratches in the mahogany body, and some finish checking. The top material is lifting slightly on the upper edge of the body. And it has absolutely no binding issues. 1968 Rickenbacker 325 JG
This 3/4 scale Ric is about as Beatle-esque as you can get, made famous by John Lennon's use of the model. It features a thin, hollow, double-cutaway body, 3 pickups, 5 knobs, and a whole lot of mojo! It came to us with a poor, amateur refinish; we had it professionally redone, and looks beautiful. It has an added period Bigsby. All other parts are original with the exception of the bridge and bridgeplate. The fingerboard finish is cracked, and there is fret wear, but it still plays cleanly. The rest of it is a clean, glossy black! Price includes recent hard Ric case.

2017 Gretsch G2169T Silver Jet
In Silver Sparkle finish, this one's a beauty! Based on the classic late-1950s Silver Jet, this guitar from the Gretsch Professional Collection features a semi-hollow, bound mahogany body with an arched laminated maple top, and a one-piece mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard and bound headstock. It has two High Sensitive Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, and a Bigsby tailpiece. It's in remarkably clean condition, with no nicks, dings or scratches, and no visible fretwear, and the plastic still on the back panels. Sunburst finish on a single-cutaway laminated maple body, made in USA and in very good+ condition. It has two DeArmond "Double Mustache" pickups, with tone and volume controls for each. (It has tone for days -- with "Tone" printed on all 4 knobs! Obviously, 2 have been changed....) It has some dings and scratches, and small spots of bare wood. Our guitar tech put original-style tuning gears back on after we got it and there are no extra holes. We also did a wiring repair, and the electronics are otherwise original and correct. 1965 Silvertone 1457 Amp In Case at Pittsburgh Guitars

1965 Silvertone Model 1457 Amp-In-Case
Red Sparkleburst finish, made in the USA, with the amp-in-case! This model was made for a couple years in the mid-1960s, and was hugely popular in its day. And it is popular still! It has two lipstick pickups with stacked concentric knobs for tone and volume control for each, a rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, Dano-designed bridge, and the amp built right into the case. Everything is original, with the exception of the top half of one of the stacked knobs. And it all works exactly as it should! The guitar is in very good condition, with some scuffs and scratches and visible playwear, while there is very limited fretwear. The case shows some wear also; the latches and hinges work and the handle is secure, and everything works great! (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15)

This Bono signature model bears the special (RED) logo on the pickguard and truss rod cover, and was issued to bring awareness of Bono's support of Product Red and their humanitarian efforts in the battle against HIV/AIDS. Features include a double bound, double cutaway maple body with arched top and back, and spruce center block, rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid Neo-Classic "thumbnail" inlays, dual "Black Top" Filter'Tron pickups with 3-way switching, and anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge with "G" tailpiece, Grover deluxe tuners, and chrome hardware. Sunburst finish, made in the USA. Danelectro produced the Coral line between 1967 and 1969, intended as higher-end models. This 335-style semi-hollow electric was designed by Vincent Bell, a musical innovator who worked at Danelectro in the 1960s. It features a double-bound laminated maple body with bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, a half-frosted acrylic pickguard with "Vincent Bell Signature Design" logo, and two "lipstick tube"pickups. This guitar is in very good-plus condition, quite clean overall, with changed tuning gears and some small dings and light scratches. It is otherwise all-original. Price includes a chipboard case. It has vintage-style open-back tuners and chrome-plated hardware, with classic “G” arrow control knobs. It's in very good condition, with some small dings and finish chips, and deep finish checks, and the tremolo arm tip is cracked. The back of the headstock is stamped "Made in Western Germany." Key to Descriptions

Before we sell any used instrument, we send it through our repair shop for a complete set up. But because they're used, we've worked out the following descriptions to let you know how used they are. We'll be happy to give you more information via phone or email.

Mint Condition--like new, no wear
Excellent condition
--some play wear, maybe some small dings or light surface scratches
Very good condition
--a few scratches, some dings and/or lacquer chips, but structurally sound, normal play wear
Good condition--structurally sound, has been played a lot, some repairs or cosmetic flaws possible
Fair condition--a well-loved guitar, may have some problems, but we'll describe them as accurately as possible
