1969 Epiphone E422T Century
A non-cutaway, thinline hollowbody in sunburst finish, with one P-90 pickup. It has a rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, 25 1/2" scale, a trapeze tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. It is in excellent overall condition, with some small dings, and fine finish checking throughout. There is more checking on the front than the back, and the back was next to impossible to capture in picutres. The finish is slightly marred on the front top of the headstock. 2015 Non-Reverse Limited Edition Firebird at Pittsburgh Guitars

2015 Limited Edition Non-Reverse Firebird
Ebony finish on a Z-shaped solid mahogany body with gloss finish, and in excellent condition. It has a mahogany "Slim Taper" neck with rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and medium jumbo frets; Tune-o-Matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece; and two mini-humbucking pickups each with tone and volume controls. It is quite clean, with only a couple tiny dings -- nothing through the finish -- and the light surface scratches common on black guitars. The knobs have been changed to gold. And the tuning gears were once changed, and shadows of the old gears, and some screw holes, are visible. It now has the original mini-Grover gears. 1965 Melody Maker-D
Cherry finish on a double cutaway, slab body, all original and oh-so-cool! It has two pickups, a wraparound bridge/tailpiece, and an unbound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. This one never had the Maestro vibrato, so it has no extra screw holes. It's in very good condition, with lots of playwear, nicks, and finish checking. 1990 Epiphone MIJ Casino at Pittsburgh Guitars

1990 Epiphone Casino
Vintage Sunburst finish, made in Japan. The orange label inside its f-hole, and 5-digit serial number beginning with "05" indicate that it is a Casino, made in Japan in 1990. It's in excellent overall condition, with some light surface scratches. The binding is discolored in some spots. The face of the headstock looks wavy -- it possibly was over-sprayed -- and the chrome plating is bubbling up a little bit near the diamond on the tailpiece. It is a very cool guitar and it's fun to play! It has had several upgrades, including Kent Armstrong pickups, Kluson tuners, a Gotoh ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles, a bone nut, Orange Drop caps, and a Switchcraft jack and switch. Sunburst finish, made in the USA, and in excellent-plus condition. It features an alder body with gloss urethane finish, 3 single coil pickups with 5-way switching, maple neck and fingerboard, 2-point synchronized tremolo, and chrome hardware. The pickups have been upgraded to Fender Noiseless pickups. It is quite clean, with no dings or chips, and no visible fretwear. Price includes clean original hard case, and loads of case candy. 1998 `69 Telecaster Thinline
From the Classic Series, made in Mexico, this guitar features a semi-hollow body with F-hole, maple neck with maple fingerboard and dot inlays, 2 pickups with 3-way switching, and a 3-saddle, strings-through-body, vintage style Tele bridge. It has master volume and tone controls, Schaller "F" tuners, and a white shell pickguard. This guitar has had several upgrades, including a new wiring harness, Fender American vintage Reissue `64 Tele pickups, Luxe capacitors, and a CTS switch. 1956 Gretsch Duo Jet
This exceptionally clean example of a vintage Gretsch Duo Jet came to us from a large collection of well cared-for guitars. It is 100% original, with a chambered mahogany body, 2 DeArmond pickups, a grey plastic pickguard, and “G” tailpiece. It has a Melita bridge, flat top arrow knobs, bound rosewood fingerboard with rectangular block inlays, and the Gretsch “T-roof” logo on the headstock. It shows normal playwear, with some light finish scratches on the top, some small dings and scratches in the mahogany body, and some finish checking. The top material is lifting slightly on the upper edge of the body. And it has absolutely no binding issues. 1968 Rickenbacker 325 in Jetglo at Pittsburgh Guitars

1968 Rickenbacker 325 JG
This 3/4 scale Ric is about as Beatle-esque as you can get, made famous by John Lennon's use of the model. It features a thin, hollow, double-cutaway body, 3 pickups, 5 knobs, and a whole lot of mojo! It came to us with a poor, amateur refinish; we had it professionally redone, and looks beautiful. It has an added period Bigsby. All other parts are original with the exception of the bridge and bridgeplate. The fingerboard finish is cracked, and there is fret wear, but it still plays cleanly. The rest of it is a clean, glossy black! Price includes recent hard Ric case.

1963 Rickenbacker 625 in Fireglo at Pittsburgh Guitars

1963 Rickenbacker 625 FG
A very cool solid-body electric from May of 1963, and one of only 70 made in Fireglo finish that year. This model features Rickenbacker's famous 'Cresting Wave' cutaway maple body, a rosewood fingerboard with iconic triangular pearloid inlay markers, and both mono and stereo output. It is almost all original -- finish, wiring harness (the pot codes date 1962 and 1963), even an early "Ac'cent by Paul" plate on the vibrato. We got it with HB1 pickups, used by Rickenbacker in the 380 Laguna and 650 models. We have replaced them with c.1990s Toaster pickups.  Additionally, we found an appropriate black switch tip, which was added after the pictures were taken. We'll include either or both with the guitar! This guitar is in very good condition, with loads of honest playwear. It has dings and scratches, and some bare wood in the places you would expect it. The fingerboard finish is worn, but the original small frets have plenty of life left. The pickup cavities were, at some point, routed for depth -- we have no explanation. And it is missing the bridge cover. The neck is straight and it plays even and easy. Overall, a great vintage Rickenbacker with a very cool vibe! Price includes what we belive to be the original hard case.

2014 Rickenbacker 360 MG
Mapleglo finish, made in the USA, and in excellent condition. Features include a contoured maple body with a bound back, rosewood fingerboard with triangular pearloid inlay markers, "R" tailpiece and six saddle bridge, two Rickenbacker Hi-gain pickups, and both mono and stereo outputs. It is very clean, with one small ding on the top of the headstock, and some shadowing under the finish around the cat's eye slash. Price includes the original hard case, and some case candy.

It has a double-bound body, two Hagstrom single coil pickups with individual volume and tone controls, and 3-way switching. The neck has a low, comfortable profile, and it plays great. It's in excellent overall condition, with some light scuff marks and a couple small dings and finish checks. Price includes equally clean original chipboard case. Sunburst finish on a single-cutaway laminated maple body, made in USA and in very good+ condition. It has two DeArmond "Double Mustache" pickups, with tone and volume controls for each. (It has tone for days -- with "Tone" printed on all 4 knobs! Obviously, 2 have been changed....) It has some dings and scratches, and small spots of bare wood. Our guitar tech put original-style tuning gears back on after we got it and there are no extra holes. We also did a wiring repair, and the electronics are otherwise original and correct. This Bono signature model bears the special (RED) logo on the pickguard and truss rod cover, and was issued to bring awareness of Bono's support of Product Red and their humanitarian efforts in the battle against HIV/AIDS. Features include a double bound, double cutaway maple body with arched top and back, and spruce center block, rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid Neo-Classic "thumbnail" inlays, dual "Black Top" Filter'Tron pickups with 3-way switching, and anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge with "G" tailpiece, Grover deluxe tuners, and chrome hardware. Key to Descriptions

Before we sell any used instrument, we send it through our repair shop for a complete set up. But because they're used, we've worked out the following descriptions to let you know how used they are. We'll be happy to give you more information via phone or email.

Mint Condition--like new, no wear
Excellent condition
--some play wear, maybe some small dings or light surface scratches
Very good condition
--a few scratches, some dings and/or lacquer chips, but structurally sound, normal play wear
Good condition--structurally sound, has been played a lot, some repairs or cosmetic flaws possible
Fair condition--a well-loved guitar, may have some problems, but we'll describe them as accurately as possible
