1999 SG-X
A rare model, the Gibson SG-X, in Limited Edition Army Green finish! This guitar features a mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays, Tune-o-Matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece, and one 500T ceramic magnet humbucker with tone and volume controls and a coil-tap switch. It's in very good+ condition, with some scuffs and small dings, and a small chip on the trussrod cover. And we got it with Dunlop straplocks installed, strap parts included. 1996 Les Paul Studio
Wine red, made in the USA, and in very good condition. Features include two humbucking pickups with 3-way switching, a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and chrome hardware. It has a number of scrapes and scratches.At least one of the tuners was changed at some point, and there is an extra screw hole visible above the correct gear. It has some belt buckle rash on the back, and a number of chips in the finish, especially around the edges. Price includes non-original hard case. 1998 Epiphone `56 Reissue Gold Top
Metallic gold finish on a mahogany/alder body with set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and chrome hardware. This one has several upgrades, including two GFS P-90 pickups, new CTS pots, Switchcraft switch and jack, Gibson knobs, and a bone nut. 2002 American Vintage 1962 Reissue Jazzmaster
Ocean Turquoise nitro-cellulose lacquer finish on an alder body with maple "C" shape neck, also with nitro-cellulose lacquer finish, and rosewood fingerboard. Made in Corona, California, this Fender model features a contoured body with offset waist, switchable lead and rhythm circuits with independent volume and tone controls, and floating tremolo with "Tremolo-Lock." It has 2 Special Design American Vintage Jazzmaster Single-Coil Pickups, Fender/Gotoh Vintage-Style tuning machines, and chrome hardware. It is in excellent overall condition, with a couple small lacquer chips. Price includes original deluxe brown Fender hard case, with lots of case candy. 2016 American Elite Stratocaster at Pittsburgh Guitars

1978 Hardtail Stratocaster
Black polyurethane finish with a maple fingerboard, made in USA. The pots date to the 12th week of 1978, and a peek inside shows all the electronics to be untouched. The pickups measure 5.78 kΩ in the neck, 5.73 in the middle, and 5.61 in the bridge. It's all-original, and in very good condition, with a number of finish chips and scratches. The fingerboard is stained, and the finish is flaking in spots. Price includes possibly original hard case, wood & black tolex with fuzzy blue insides. 1966 Silvertone 1452 Amp-in-Case Model at Pittsburgh Guitars

1996 Paul Reed Smith Santana
This limited production model reproduces Carlos Santana's original PRS guitar. Every aspect of the model was approved by Santana, from the shape of the neck to the sound of the pickups. In Santana Yellow finish, from the second year of issue, this guitar's features include the PRS pre-1985 body shape, a 24 fret mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and rippled abalone bird inlays. It has an East Coast maple top accented by paua shell inlays, and a mahogany back. The headstock decoration includes the PRS Headstock Eagle and OM symbol inlayed on the truss rod cover. It has two Santana zebra coil pickups, a volume and tone controls, and 2 mini-switch pickup selectors. Mini-Schaller tuning gears and PRS tremolo complete the package. This guitar is in excellent condition, and it is beautiful! It shows limited playwear, extremely minimal fretwear, no finish chips, and only very light surface scratches. 1968 Rickenbacker 325
This 3/4 scale Ric is about as Beatle-esque as you can get, made famous by John Lennon's use of the model. It features a thin, hollow, double-cutaway body, 3 pickups, 5 knobs, and a whole lot of mojo! It came to us with a poor, amateur refinish; we had it professionally redone, and looks beautiful. It has an added period Bigsby. All other parts are original with the exception of the bridge and bridgeplate. The fingerboard finish is cracked, and there is fret wear, but it still plays cleanly. The rest of it is a clean, glossy black! Price includes recent hard Ric case.

1967 Le Baye 2 x 4 at Pittsburgh Guitars 1967 Le Baye 2x4
One of only 45 made, this guitar is all original, with the exception of the neck pickup which was rewound by Tom Brantley. The 2x4 is "famous" for having been used by Tommy James & The Shondells (for about 15 minutes), and it features 2 single coil pickups with a 3-way selector switch, and a rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. This one is red, and in excellent overall condition, with some lacquer chips on the front, sides, and back. Price includes original hard case. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5)

1966 Silvertone 1452 Amp-in-Case
Made in the USA, in redburst finish, this is the less-often seen 2-pickup solid body electric with tremolo. The 1452 was the last Danelectro-made Silvertone, and this one is a fine example. It has two lipstick pickups each with its own tone and volume control, steel reinforced neck with a rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, and the amp built right into the case. Everything is original and works perfectly. The guitar is quite clean, with a couple small dings, mostly around the headstock, and some scuff marks on the side and bottom. The outside of the case edges show some wear; the latches and hinges work perfectly and the handle is secure. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16)

Yellow finish on a solid obeche (African basswood) body, rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays, made in the USA. Other features include 2 P-90 pickups with 3-way switching, tone and volume controls, and vintage-style tuners. It has a 24 1/2" scale. And it's in excellent condition, with two dings on the top of the headstock, a small scuff mark on the front, and some belt buckle impressions on the back that do now show up in pictures -- none through the finish. 2015 Yamaha Revstar RS720B
From the Yamaha Revstar line, in tiger striped Ash Grey finish. Features include a double cutaway mahogany gloss body with flame maple satin finish top, mahogany set neck with rosewood fingerboard, and a Bigsby B50 tailpiece. It has two VT5 humbucking pickups, and a push-pull "Dry Switch" that filters out low frequencies for a "bright, clear tone with lots of body, no hum and plenty of power." This guitar has was originally purchased here and returned to us in like-new condition. It has no dings or scratches, and the plastic is still on the pickguard and control panel, as well as the truss rod cover. Price includes equally-clean original padded gig bag. A single cutaway Electromatic in Georgia Green, with a 5-ply, double-bound maple body, with bound "cat's eye" soundholes. It has a maple neck, and a bound rosewood fingerboard with Gretsch Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and two pickups -- a Blacktop Filter'Tron pickup in the bridge and a Super Hilo'Tron in the neck position, each with individual tone and volume controls, as well as a master volume control. Other features include an anchored adjustomatic bridge and a Bigsby tailpiece. It also has a solid spruce center block for "high gain-friendly tone." It has two Gretsch mini humbucking pickups and 3-way switching, with master volume and tone controls. Other features include an Adjusto-Matic bridge, and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. It is in excellent condition, with plastic still on the truss rod cover and back panel. The only blemishs we can find are a couple small finish chips at the bottom strap button. The HB36 Vintage has a double cutaway maple body with a spruce top in Vintage Sunburst finish, and a solid maple block in the center to increase sustain and reduce feedback. It features two Washburn humbucking pickups, a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, bound f-holes, multi-laminate binding, "distressed" gold hardware, and Grover Rotomatic tuners. Key to Descriptions

Before we sell any used instrument, we send it through our repair shop for a complete set up. But because they're used, we've worked out the following descriptions to let you know how used they are. We'll be happy to give you more information via phone or email.

Mint Condition--like new, no wear
Excellent condition
--some play wear, maybe some small dings or light surface scratches
Very good condition
--a few scratches, some dings and/or lacquer chips, but structurally sound, normal play wear
Good condition--structurally sound, has been played a lot, some repairs or cosmetic flaws possible
Fair condition--a well-loved guitar, may have some problems, but we'll describe them as accurately as possible
