From the Gretsch Roots Collection, the G9240 Alligator features a vintage semi-gloss 2-Color Sunburst finish on a non-cutaway laminated mahogany body, and a set mahogany neck with medium “V” shape, padauk fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, and 19 medium jumbo frets. It has Grover Sta-Tite tuners, a weathered trapeze tailpiece, and Biscuit – hard maple with ebony/maple saddle bridge.
