Handmade in Germany, this bass is a replica of the `61 model that Paul McCartney once bought in Hamburg. It has a dark sunburst finish, two close-spaced Hofner Diamond Nickel pickups, and features a a spruce top and flame maple back and sides, a 3-piece maple/beech/maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and the classic Hofner control panel. It is one of the most iconic bass guitars ever made! It comes with a vintage-style tweed Hofner case, a Certificate of Authenticity, the H65/50 leather strap, and loads of case candy.
