The 500/1 violin bass is one of the most famous bass guitars in the world! Brand new and in stock now, this is a left-handed 1964 Reissue Beatle bass, as made famous by Sir Paul McCartney all those years ago.

Made in Germany, this bass features a spruce top and flame maple back and sides with black / white / black binding. It has a flame maple / beech / flame maple slim profile neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and white binding – a look that sets it apart from other Hofner basses. It has two Hofner “Staple” pickups and the traditional Hofner pearl control panel. Single nickel tuners, a Hofner Trapeze tailpiece, and gold top “Teacup” knobs finish of the iconic look of this bass.

It comes with a hard tweed Hofner case, Certificate of Authenticity, H65/50 leather strap, and more!
