Received the Rickenbacker on schedule. Took me 15 minutes to unpack (that’s a GOOD thing). Most thorough packing job I’ve seen — well done. Last but not least, I love the guitar (as both you and John anticipated). Tell John thanks for his help. Customer service was excellent, too, even though it was clear I called at a busy time. If I get to the ‘burgh again one day, Pittsburgh Guitars will be first on my “to visit” list (followed closely by PNC Park).

The guitar arrived safely on Friday the 14th… a incredible packing job! The guitar is just as you described… great tone, playability and really nice bluesy breakup on those P-90s. I made a few personal tweaks on her but she did play good right out of the box . . . It was a real pleasure doing business and talking with you… I am sure I will buy from you again in the near future.

Oh my. What a wonderful looking instrument….

When I finally got the guitar out of the shipping box (I now feel qualified to wrestle alligators) I opened up the case and was amazed by its beauty. 

It almost had a certain “aura” to it. Something that none of the guitars at the other places I looked had.

Thanks once again, as an overseas customer I must say that your service and support while ensuring that this vintage guitar arrived in perfect condition have been second to none (especially as you could have easily sold it locally without all of the hassle of export!!).

Thanks for the amp!  I finally got  to play it at a gig… it’s everything that I was looking for in an amp.

Just want to let you all know that the Martin I had built through Pittsburgh Guitars and Martin far exceeds any expectations I had envisioned. It’s unbelievable, both in sound and easy of playing. It has volume, quality of sound and inner harmonics I have never heard in my playing , the fingering more is like an electric guitar…unimaginable…

John, Betsy and Co. – On behalf of the band and myself, thanks for putting on the BBB and for giving us a spot. It’s so great to just be at a place where people are there to hear the music. To play there is a gift.  My favorite part of the show was watching students get up in front of a packed house for their “recital.” I’ve known Rich Dugan for 25 years and I’m not surprised that he has such a great rapport with his students. We hung around for hours just waiting to see what the next musical surprise was and we not disappointed. If there is ever any way that we can help with anything, don’t hesitate to call.
