1978 Fender Mustang Guitar with Maple Fretboard in Natural Finish; Comes with Original Hard Case and Pro-Setup

Here we have a 1978 Fender Mustang, Natural Finish, in Very Good Condition! This Mustang is in all-original shape. The only notable exception is that a previous owner had routed out a little of the pickguard and body to have better access to the truss rod at the heel (somewhat common because people didn’t want to unscrew the neck for an adjustment). There is a small finish crack where neck joins the body at the cutaway side, but it is purely just in the finish (not the wood). Otherwise, the guitar shows that it was well-played but never abused. Plenty of fine to moderate finish scratches and scuffs adorn this Mustang, as well as some dings, blemishes, and worn-finish areas. Mild fret wear and divots are present on the 1st several frets (plain strings / treble side), but not enough to warrant a fret leveling. Given that this is a well-played vintage instrument, we’ve taken a lot of pics to represent what’s going on cosmetically in a given region/zone of the guitar. Just note that there’s more wear (as previously described) surrounding the highlighted areas in the photos.

The 1978 Mustang comes with its original hard case, bridge cover, and tremolo/vibrato arm. It has also been setup by our shop repairman of 45 years; and, it is ready to rock with its next owner! Please feel free to message us about the 1978 Fender Mustang in Natural Finish!
