2013 Gibson USA Firebird V, Left-Handed, in Vintage Sunburst; Comes with Original Hard Case and Pro-Setup

Here we have a 2013 Gibson USA Firebird V, Left-Handed, in Vintage Sunburst Finish!  This era (2010-2013) of Gibson USA Firebird V’s notably came stock with the Steinberger gearless tuning machines (40:1 tuning ratio).  Some may argue that they aren’t the traditional banjo tuners; but, the Steinberger’s are a lot lighter on the headstock – which helps mitigate “neck dive” issues – not to mention the super-tight tuning ratio as well.  All the other appointments are consistent with the Gibson USA Firebird V model line (1990’s to late 2010’s) such as: slim “D-shape” neck profile, Ceramic (not Alnico) Firebird pickups, “Nashville” ABR-1 bridge, and 300k ohm Volume Pot (or both vol/tone depending on the year).  Other features are the 9-ply Mahogany/Walnut straight-though neck to body build construction, Nitrocellulose finish, and chrome hardware.

This guitar is in “Excellent – ” Condition!  It has a few scratches, dings, and nicks that are photographed.  What is not shown are the light surface finish scratches from light general handling and cloth wiping, as they are too difficult to bring up on camera.  Also, the back cavity panel/cover still has the protective cellophane on.  Lastly, there is no evidence of a neck break-repair on this Firebird V, which is notorious on these models.
