This bass is the “Cavern” edition of Hofner’s Contemporary Series Beatle bass, with close spaced pickups recreating the style of the 1961 version of this model, played by Paul McCartney in the Cavern Club in Liverpool. It features a a spruce top and flame maple back and sides, and has a sustain block inside for resonance, while still retaining the original Hofner Beatle bass sound.

It has a 3-piece set maple/beech/maple neck, short scale (30″), and two German-made Hofner Diamond Logo pickups with standard Hofner control panel. It is one of greatest electric bass guitars ever made, and is available at a very affordable price!
