Fashioned after the first ukuleles that originated in Hawaii in the 1880s, Martin has been making soprano ukes since 1905. This beauty is the smallest-sized uke Martin makes and it features a body crafted of koa top, back, and sides, with a hand-rubbed ultra-thin finish.

It has a 13.614″ scale, non-scalloped bracing, and an applied dovetail neck joint. It comes with a padded gig bag. Martin has long been known for their superior quality ukuleles, and the S1K is a another example of that craftsmanship.
